Some of this information — such as passport, financial, and immigration details — may be considered “sensitive personal data” under applicable law. We process it only where necessary to provide the Services and with appropriate safeguards.
We use personal information to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third‑party advertising.
Where the law requires a legal basis for processing (for example, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, for individuals in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the GDPR), we rely on one or more of the following:
You may withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights). Withdrawing consent will not affect processing carried out before withdrawal, and may mean we can no longer provide certain services.
As part of our service we may help set up a dedicated email inbox used solely for your university applications, and — only with your explicit consent — monitor that inbox so that admissions decisions, document requests, and deadlines from institutions are promptly actioned by our team. Access is limited to authorised staff for the purpose of managing your applications. You may ask us to stop monitoring, and to disconnect the inbox, at any time.
We share personal information only as needed to provide the Services and as described below:
Because we help you apply to institutions abroad, your information will often be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the country of each institution or authority you apply to. Those countries may have different data‑protection laws. Where required, we take steps to ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter only as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, or dispute‑resolution obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You may request deletion as described below, subject to records we are legally required to retain.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, two‑factor authentication with one‑time login codes, role‑based access controls so staff see only what they need, and restricted access to document storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframes required by law.
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you securely signed in and to operate the Platform. We do not use advertising or third‑party tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in.
Our Services are intended for applicants who are able to form a binding agreement. Where a user is a minor under applicable law, we require verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before processing their personal data, and we process a minor’s data in line with the additional protections required by law.
The Platform integrates with and may link to third‑party services (such as educational institutions’ portals, payment providers, and Google services). Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” and version above and, where appropriate, notify you or ask you to acknowledge the updated policy. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
If you have questions, requests, or complaints about this policy or your personal information, please contact:
